Rocket Trade-In Programme – Terms & Conditions

The following terms apply to participation in the Pro Espresso Rocket Trade-In Programme (“Programme”) and form part of our general Terms & Conditions of Sale.

1. Eligibility

1.1 The Programme is available only to customers purchasing a new Rocket Espresso machine directly from proespresso.co.uk.

1.2 Only officially supplied UK Rocket Espresso machines purchased through authorised UK distribution channels are eligible for trade-in.

1.3 Eligible machines must be original UK specification models supplied with a factory-fitted UK plug.

1.4 Machines fitted with EU plugs, international variants, converted machines, or machines using UK plug adaptors are not eligible.

1.5 Grey imports or machines sourced via unauthorised sellers are strictly excluded.

1.6 Pro Espresso reserves the right to verify eligibility by serial number and to request proof of original UK purchase where required.

1.7 The trade-in machine must be legally owned by the customer placing the order.

2. Trade-In Valuation

2.1 The online Trade-In Calculator provides an estimated valuation based on the information supplied by the customer.

2.2 The estimated valuation is not binding and does not constitute a guaranteed rebate.

2.3 Final rebate value is subject to physical inspection and verification of the returned machine.

2.4 Pro Espresso reserves the right to revise or withdraw the estimated valuation if:

The machine materially differs from the declared condition
The machine is not in working order
There is significant cosmetic or structural damage
Internal components are missing or modified
The serial number is removed, altered, or illegible
The machine does not meet UK specification requirements

2.5 “Up to £800” represents the maximum possible rebate under the Programme and will vary according to model, age and condition.

3. Condition Requirements

3.1 Trade-in machines must be capable of producing coffee at the time of collection.

3.2 Normal cosmetic wear consistent with age is acceptable; however, major faults, severe corrosion, structural damage, or non-functional machines may result in valuation adjustment or refusal.

3.3 Customers must provide accurate and truthful declarations when using the Trade-In Calculator.

3.4 Where “Serviced within the last 6 months” is selected, reasonable evidence of service may be requested.

4. Purchase & Rebate Process

4.1 Customers must:

Complete the Trade-In Calculator
Generate a valid trade-in reference code
Purchase a new Rocket Espresso machine via proespresso.co.uk
Enter promo code “TRADEIN” at checkout
Include their unique trade-in reference code in the order notes

4.2 The new Rocket machine must be paid for in full at checkout.

4.3 The trade-in value is issued as a post-purchase rebate after inspection and verification of the returned machine.

4.4 Delivery of the new machine and collection of the trade-in machine will be arranged separately.

5. Inspection & Ownership

5.1 Upon collection, ownership of the trade-in machine transfers to Pro Espresso.

5.2 All returned machines are subject to technical inspection.

5.3 If the machine materially differs from the declared condition, Pro Espresso may:

Revise the rebate amount;
Offer return of the machine at the customer’s cost; or
Refuse the trade-in.

5.4 Pro Espresso’s inspection determination shall be final.

6. Rebate Payment

6.1 Rebates will be issued to the original payment method used to purchase the new machine.

6.2 Please allow approximately 14 days from the date the trade-in machine is received for the rebate to be processed.

6.3 Processing times may vary depending on payment provider timelines.

6.4 If the new machine purchase is cancelled, refunded, or returned, the trade-in rebate will not be payable.

7. General

7.1 Participation in the Programme transfers the trade-in machine into the Rocket Second Life refurbishment programme.

7.2 The Programme may be amended, suspended, or withdrawn at any time without notice.

7.3 The Programme is non-transferable and may not be combined with other promotional offers unless expressly stated.

7.4 Pro Espresso reserves the right to refuse participation where misrepresentation, abuse, or suspected fraud is identified.
