TRADING POST COFFEE ROASTERS - Brighton and Chichester

Since 2017, Trading Post Coffee Roasters have been the leading artisan coffee roasters in the South of England. Their 5 sites in Sussex host open plan coffee roasting facilities, coffee bars and eateries.

In 2020 they opened the doors to The Roastery on Sydney Street, Brighton. The Roastery is where they develop their signature artisan coffee blends which are renowned across the UK for their incredible taste profile and sustainability credentials. The Roastery is also their training hub, where they host barista training and coffee shop consultancy courses for their wholesale customers.

They roast all their coffee origins individually, in small batches by hand, to ensure that they are all crafted to the highest standards with the greatest of care. They team roast their artisan coffee daily to ensure maximum freshness and of course the incredible taste their coffee is known for.

They stand for natural, sustainable, and freshly roasted artisan coffee, hand roasted here in the heart of Sussex. They pride ourselves on their unique artisan roasting method, refined by their Master Roaster who has learnt this traditional trade from two generations of coffee roasters.

The origins of their beans are of great importance to them. Social and environmental responsibility from farms is one of their highest priorities. They know that the best premium coffee comes from farmers who are committed to the highest quality in every aspect of their operation – from utilising sustainable growing techniques to the health and welfare of workers. They only source from farms who ensure workers are treated fairly and nature is protected.

All of their blends are Rainforest Alliance certified, including their Soil Association Organic Certified blend. Every Trading Post Coffee consists of premium Arabica beans grown at high altitude of 3000 ft or above. High-altitude, shade-grown coffee makes for a more complex and delicious cup of coffee.
